Below are the short aromatherapy descriptions of the essential oils that are found in their soaps.
Aphrodite is a sweet floral fragrance and is a blend of Ylang Ylang (regarded for its antidepressant, antiseptic and aphrodisiac effects), Sweet Orange (soothes dry irritated skin), Grapefruit White (a tonic with antiseptic and astringent effects) and Patchouli (aids healing of rough, cracked skin and considered to aid eczema).
Cedarwood has a strong, spicy, woody fragrance and considered to benefit the treatment of acne, dandruff, eczema, greasy hair, oily skin and psoriasis.
Traditional Lavender is highly regarded for its calming and restorative effect. Used for many years as a healing agent for the skin, it is reputed to ease pain, prevent infection, promote healing and reduce scarring. Lavender has also been used as an insect repellent and to treat bites as well as to prevent itching and scratching.
Lemon Myrtle is produced from a native Australian plant, its fragrance is vibrant and wildly lemon. It is considered to have antiseptic, astringent and antiviral properties, improves concentration, is emotionally uplifting, and soothing for sleep. It is considered beneficial to oily skin and to open pores.
Lemongrass is considered to ease pain associated with sprains, bruises and arthritis. It is also reputed to have antispasmodic, analgesic and antifungal properties.
Lime is considered to have anti-rheumatic, antiseptic, antiviral and antibacterial effects. It is beneficial as a restorative and tonic.
The sweet mandarin essential oil is considered to have antiseptic and antispasmodic effects. It aids acne, congested oily skin and stretch marks.
Peppermint cools the skin and is considered to have anti-rheumatic, antiseptic, antiviral and antibacterial effects. It is also beneficial as a restorative and tonic.
Rose Geranium has a very vibrant floral scent. It is considered an antidepressant, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, deodorant and fungicidal. It also assists acne, bruises, dermatitis and eczema. It aids a mature skin.
Rosewood has a soft, warm, woody fragrance that is considered to be a mild analgesic and antidepressant. It is also antiseptic and antimicrobial and useful as a deodorant and tissue regenerator or tonic.
Zeolite is an unscented volcanic mineral and is a potent antioxidant. It traps and neutralizes pollutants and is a powerful exfoliate with the ability to soothe and and calm acid skin conditions. It cleanses and detoxifies the skin.
